    Reference book for Yarn

    This book has just the information I have been looking for - am moving toward intermediate beginner from just plain ignorant beginner! So that means experimenting with different yarns - it is lovely to be able to expect how the yarn will behave once it's been finished, washed & blocked and worn.

    yarn appreciation at its finest.

    I so love this book. The knitter's book of yarn is great for anyone who loves the craft of knitting and crochet. I highly recommend this book especially for beginners. This book teaches you everything you need to know about yarn. How it is made, who makes it, how it gets to you, and what it longs to become. After my purchase of this book, I no longer have to wonder what to do with yarn. I have s new found appreciation for yarn.

    Wonderful resource

    A wonderful resource for the knitter's library. She breaks down the different fibers, why they're useful, how they are used and makes it great to figure out fiber combinations for your needs.

    Learning all about yarn.

    A quick look through the book only. It looks like I will enjoy it once I get the time. I haven't read too much from the book, as I said I have only had the time for a quick glance.
