Words of Wisdom for All Ages!
Jamie LeeA Curtis's story is one of my all-time favorite children's books. It helps us to remember that as children learn language, they take words literally, and we should be aware of how misunderstandings may occur when we don't take the time to clarify what is being conveyed. It also acknowledges the healthy ways to see ourselves as multifaceted, worthy, and part of a world where kindness and acceptance of our differences builds harmonious relationships as we go through our lives.Jamie LeeA Curtis's story is one of my all-time favorite children's books. It helps us to remember that as children learn language, they take words literally, and we should be aware of how misunderstandings may occur when we don't take the time to clarify what is being conveyed. Best children's book in a long, long time!!!
This book was used for illustration at a Social Work conference I recently attended. I came home and immediately purchased it. Using humor, this book teaches self worth, team work, everyone has a purpose and place in life. "So, take what's inside you and make big, bold choices. And for those who can't speak for themselves, use BOLD voices." All in a wonderfully illustrated manner. I plan to use this book in future presentations to educators, civic and religious groups. I originally bought this for work but have purchased duplicates to give to my grandchildren. Can't wait to purchase ALL of Jamie Lee Curtis' other childrens books in duplicate as well.This book was used for illustration at a Social Work conference I recently attended. Entertaining and meaningful book for both children and adults!
I have many of the Jamie Lee Curtis books for my children and I think they are wonderful and entertaining for both children and adults. The illustrations are so creative and humorous. You will notice new details in the illustrations each time you read the book. I bought this one as a gift and it is in perfect condition!

Amazing book- great for kids and adults!
I absolutely love this book! It's great for kids and adults- it has such a great message about race and the illustrations go along with the story so well! I am a teacher and my kids love this book! I highly recommend it!
