    Fast paced and well written novel.

    I enjoyed The Revenant very much. It was very well written and the author has the ability to make you feel like you are with Hugh Glass on his adventures, lots of interesting history too..

    Hopefully you didn't watch the movie 1st!

    This book is fantastic, I made the mistake of watching the movie first but even if you did, not a problem. This is because the book, of course, doesn't follow the movie accurately, which is great because you are able to get backgrounds of each character in the book. I have purposely lagged on finishing this book since I am aware of what the ending is and I am not eager to let go of this book so fast. It is an easy read that could be done in a day or two but I have let the suspense of the book to last me a lot longer. I was not familiar with this author until now but I will be searching for a new piece by him afterwards. You should not be disappointed with this book you are about to experience.

    Good Writing

    I was surprised that the author held my attention with some creative writing and good description of some difficult to deal with situations. Gives what I believe to be an accurate description of that time, those people and a uniquely American drama. Wish I could tell a story like that--
