Fabulous content, well laid out, and easy to follow. Fantastic!
This is a great DVD. It is full of a lot of information and therefore can help dancers of various levels. I would say it is probably not the best DVD if you are a very beginner in belly dance. You should know the basic moves first. There is a section of movement breakdowns for those who need them, but, again, you would do better to have at least the basic moves of belly dance under your belt before trying what is offered here. If you are more advanced and don't need the break down section, you can easily skip it because each section has its own menu and it is very easy to navigate around in this to where ever you want to go. As such, Jillina has made this easily usable for dancers of so many different levels, allowing each person to easily access the sections they want to work on ... This is a great DVD. After the break down section, Jillina teaches combos and then later takes the combos and uses them to create a choreography. Keep in mind, you can easily navigate to any of these sections through the very well laid out menus. It is all very well organized. It is easy to follow. Jillina faces a mirror and is filmed from behind her with the camera to a slight angle. So you can see her back and her front all at the same time, just like you would be able to see a teacher in a live class setting. This makes it really easy to see what she is doing. Jillina is very clear and explains things very well. In addition, Jillina has a fabulous style. Anyone who knows of her, knows she excels in choreography. If you want to look great dancing and are lacking for choreography or technique, you seriously can't go wrong with Jillina's DVDs. Whether you want to use her choreographies as is for a show or for a party, etc., you can use the choreographies she offers...and you can also use the combos she teaches to help you make up your own choreographies. Let me be clear - there is ONE choreography offered on this DVD, but these same perks I mentioned are in all her later DVDs that I've seen. I don't know about her earlier DVDs, as I haven't seen any of those as of yet. Something Jillina does that I really like a lot is she often will modify a combo once it moves into the choreography, so, in a way, she is also showing you how you can think in terms of modifying combos to make even more combos out of them or to make one fit a specific piece of music by altering or adding a move. I feel this greatly helps expand a dancer's movement library and helps him/her to think in a more expanded way. To me, this is one of Jillina's great offerings. All these aspects make Jillina's DVDs better than other others out there that I've seen. Some other DVDs might contain some of these aspects, but not usually all of them. The sum total of all these pluses make this an amazing DVD to have. If you can't currently execute a drum solo as adorably as Jillina does, or find your drum solo moves a little lacking, get this DVD. It is sure to please. I really can't think of anything dislikable about it. It's excellent.

Learn from the best!
Jillian is a true master. She is a musician and one of the best belly dancers in the world. She also happens to be an excellent teacher. This dvd is great for learning the sharp, quick isolations for drum solo. I love it.

Great Choreography, Easy to Follow Along With
This is a great buy. The choreography is great and Jillina is always easy to understand. Her directions are very clear. There are sections for technique before moving into the choreography, however, even with that material in place, this still might be a bit difficult for someone who doesn't already have the basic movements of belly dance under their belt. Choreograpy and Instruction
Excellent choreography, with advanced layering technique and steps. Excellent instruction and camera angles. Jillina is an amazing teaching and gifted performer.
