Beyond your wildest dreams!
From first paragraph to the last word in the last chapter has you wanting to know more! This is the best, and I do mean BEST, series books EVER! I purchased the first set for myself and devoured every word. I went on to purchase 2 more complete sets for 2 of my sons. It brings you closer to God and causes you to dig into your Bible, to seek a relationship with Him. I adore both of the beloved authors. Great Series
I have the full series and read it years ago. Now my grown kids are interested in reading it but I was missing the first book somehow. That why I purchased this book as a replacement. So glad I did! As it cycles through my kids I will start reading this series again!

A Poorly Written Story; Read Revelations Instead!
This is not a book that I would recommend to anyone. For starters, the book is poorly written. The book could be considerably condensed and it would be an improvement. The dialog is not believable and in my opinion it is pretty mediocre. I also think there is a danger in the way that prophecy is interpreted throughout this series of books (not just the first one.) There are so many places in which the prophecy of Revelation gives us limited information, so the authors of this book have had to “fill in the gaps” with their own guesswork to make the story work. There are other places in which the prophecy of Revelation is totally clear, yet plot intricacies in this series contradict it. For anyone who wants to learn and understand the prophecy of Revelation, I would recommend that they just ... This is not a book that I would recommend to anyone. If you do decide to read this series, I definitely recommend that you keep a Bible handy to refer to as you go. This book is also the best of the ones in the series that I have read; it pretty much goes downhill from here. The others in my opinion are even more rushed, wordy, and poorly written. I wish I hadn't wasted my time on this book!

I love most of Tim Lahaye's work but these books just don't cut the mustard. I know I'm going against the grain here, but I just have to say my piece on these books. I've read all of them and would only recommend them to Christians that are strong in the faith. And even then, I would have to say Christians can find a better way to spend their time! The reason that I don't recommend them to non-Christians or teen-agers is that Mr. Lahaye and Mr. Jenkins with their heroes, tend to glorify the end times. I can just picture a non-christian reading these books and thinking, Oh, I can wait, no need to be saved now, I'll make it through the end times... I must say that both authors are very imaginative and creative with their interpretation of Revelation and Daniel, even though I don't ... The series of books, 15 in all, Left Behind is such a modern realistic feeling of the depiction of the coming again of Christ and the issues with the anti-Christ. It is very descriptive of how it might be in our time and very detailed. It can be a variable roller coaster ride of emotion. It at times can be a bit disturbing. Even if you are not a believer, the story can be very intoxicating. I had to take breaks at times, to absorb everything I had just read, but at the same time curious and intrigued to get back to know more. It was amazing at how detailed the depictions of Revelations could be by the two authors, as they see it, and even though it was a fictional story, with biblical facts, it really gave me a better understanding of the end. And to be able to see it happening in our ... There was not much of anything that I found of dislike to these books, except maybe the disturbing horror of it all, but could not have been written without it. It has many beautiful things in it also. It is really worth taking the time to read!!!!
