I'd like to point out that it was also shipped promptly, arrived on time, but the local post office refused to send me any notification of it arriving. Therefore I only got it today, almost a month late. The seller is at no fault, they shipped it on time. This is a wonderful story I would recommend to any kid.
My son chose this book in a school library. He loved it. I can't express myself how happy I was my 5-year old admired the story. It's a beautiful story about kindness which normally wouldn't be noticed hence appreciated in our busy and material life. We love it and want to be like Alexanders: trying not to overlook those who need us and not to be distracted and carried away by material things which invade our lives each day. Thank you. This is a Great Book! Perfect gift for children.
I love the simplicity of this story. We got this a year or two ago for my daughter and she loves it. It is really a classic part of our Christmas holiday now. We do even enjoy it throughtout the year. The illustrations are amazing! Makes you feel like you are there. Really a wonderful book and story for Children and adults too!! I got this one for my Goddaughter for Christmas!
