    Necessary reading

    High and Mighty: The Dangerous Rise of the SUV (ISBN: 1586482033) is the softcover version of the hardcover High and Mighty: The World's Most Dangerous Vehicles and How They Got That Way (ISBN : 1586481231). The softcover book contains everything the hardcover book has plus additional safety information. In my opinion, this book should be a necessary reading for anyone who owns or considers owning a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). Bradsher makes some very good points and reveals a lot of "secret" information that the auto industry doesn't want you to know. Many people do not realize they are driving around in a death-mobile. He interviews everyone from accident victims to auto industry execs to politicians to get his point across. He also debunks myths concerning SUVs (such as the AWD/4WD ...

    High and Mighty - every SUV lover should read this book

    I always thought that SUVs were one of the most unnecessary cars in existence. Unfortunately, there are still millions of people (especially in the US) that still haven't realized that. "High and Mighty" is the confirmation of all my criticisms towards SUV and therefore it should be a compulsory reading for all of those who bought or are planning to buy one - most of them would certainly change their opinions about that kind of cars. I can only recommend it!
