Der Einband weist nur sehr geringfügige Beschädigungen auf, wie z.B. kleinere Schrammen, er hat aber weder Löcher, noch ist er eingerissen. Bei gebundenen Büchern ist der Schutzumschlag möglicherweise nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Bindung weist geringfügige Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die Mehrzahl der Seiten ist unbeschädigt, das heißt, es gibt kaum Knitter oder Einrisse, es wurden nur in geringem Maße Bleistiftunterstreichungen im Text vorgenommen, es gibt keine Textmarkierungen und die Randbereiche sind nicht beschrieben.       Not for new cooks

      I love all things Martha, and hoped that this cookbook could help me out in the kitchen. My husband (trained as a chef) has been the cook for the last 24 years. He has a slew of cookbooks, but they all are geared for professionals. I've had to start cooking our meals recently, as he has a new job and doesn't have the time. I hoped this book would have recipes for someone like me. I scoured through them and found a handful to try. I started off with everyday Macaroni and Cheese. That sounded easy. It was unreal. The recipe called for the use of numerous pots, lots of steps, I needed simplicity and not the pile of pots when all was said and done. Yes, it was delicious, but I needed a vacation after making it! It was obvious to me whoever wrote that recipe didn't have to clean up afterwards. ...

      2 books are better than one

      I have the MS Living (the new classics) which I had purchased without realizing that there was a Classics cookbook. While looking through the index, I noticed there were several recipes listed that were not in the book. The index of that book included recipes from the Classic cookbook and so having this edition makes the collection complete. They are wonderful volumes and great for entertaining at home references. So if you are looking for a great comprehensive collection of recipes, do yourselves a favor and buy both volumes.

      Martha's Best of the Best

      I felt lucky getting this book the day it came out. The recipes are from her Martha Stewart Living magazine....all the best of the best! What I liked most was that it is not real fussy cooking but more on the traditional side. There are about 1200 recipes on 608 pages, for all kinds of occasions. This book has 19 classically arranged chapters from basic and breakfast to meat and dessert and of course in between you have everything else you could hope for! Martha has also included some cooking 101's for foods that everyone should have in their repertoire, like the Macaroni and Cheese and Fried Chicken. There are plenty of cooking tips and an equipment glossary which I found very helpful. An up-dated Martha Stewart in keeping with our busy lives.
