I've always used Apple's Time capsule to back up all my important files, never ever has let me down. There have been a few occasion when I have accidentally deleted files on my laptop but Time capsule always there to rescue. Definitely highly recommend to buy one. Also used as a wifi extender for these hard to reach dead spots.

I have all Apple devices in my house, don’t care about WiFi 6 - this forms part of my AirPort Extreme mesh network in my home - works perfectly as a router AND backs up my MacBook too - what more can you ask for
