The Olympus 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 ED SWD Zuiko Zoom Lens for Four Thirds is a bargain, you can get one of the sharpest bits of glass that the company has produced for a very reasonable figure. Its very well made (both the SWD and non SWD variants are as I have had both), weather sealed, very fast at f2.8-3.5, delivers superb bokeh. The lens works really well on an OMD-E-M1 when coupled with an MMF adapter and the end result is simply superb images. OK its not the fastest autofocus lens but its far from slow. Its a lot better image wise than a Siggy 70-200 f2.8 HSM OS on a Nikon D7100 body and that IS saying a fair bit as that combo works well and its also a lot less financially. Personally I think its a bargain as are the 14-54 and 12-60 versions.

I used one of these when I used the older FT cameras so now with my Panasonic G80 and the MFT adaptor works brilliant very sharp images does what it should do AF etc. So if you cant afford the very expensive MFT lenses (f2.8) this will do it for you but get the SWD version, much faster.

I was looking for good and sharp zoom lens in about 200mm for my E-30 and the natural choice came on this lens. It is very quick on the autofocus and it makes excelent colors and sharpnes every time in all types of wheater. I can only recormend this lens, it is much better in colors and sharpnes in the whole picture than the standard lenses (150mm & 300mm zooms).
