    A deeply-moving description of our gentle Saviour Jesus

    This book describes, in a deeply personal way, the truly personal care a good shepherd provides for his flock of sheep. The comparison of Jesus as our own, loving, caring shepherd and myself as the sheep in need of a guide and protector, is moving and prayerful. The author takes Psalm 23 line by line and moves through each verse explaining how Jesus loves each of us personally -guiding and protecting us through life. But, we play a part -- we must totally trust our shepherd, believing that He truly has our best welfare at heart. I will read this book again and again as a daily devotional. I want to be reminded daily how much my devoted Shepherd loves me, His little lamb.

    Another great book by Phillip Keller

    Great book by a great author. Keller takes the 23rd Psalm and compares each phrase to his experiences as a sheep farmer. Very enlightening and thought-provoking book. Highly recommend.

    A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23

    This is one of the best books I have read. You will never thing of this psalm for funerals only. It is so much more. I have given this book to several people and every one of them loved it.

    One of my all time favorite books. Full of insight and Biblical truth! A must read for every believer in Jesus Christ, "The GOOD shepherd"

    I normally do not review books, but this is a REAL Treasire!

    I am so thankful I found this book on eBay. It is a wonderful, yet compact, narrative of the shepherd and his(her) flock. I will always treasure this wonderful little book.
