  • If you want a quick reference and understanding this is the book for you!

I am in the process of taking a class on Project Management. I was really confused so I purchase this book. It really made sense to me and cleared things up to where I understood them. I don't think that it will help you pass the certification test but it would help you to understand the process and procedures that go along with managing a project.

  • Project Management for Dummies

This book is very good for being introduced to Project Management. It covers a lot of the details and is very good when taking an intro course. I bought it to use for an "on-line" class. it worked good for me!

  • A Simple and Effective Read

Just gone done with it. What a great read. Simple easy to understand and a big help in me seeing what I do that is ineffective and what I do that is effective.

  • Project Management for Dummies by Stanley Portny

I decided to by this particular book because Mr. portny is a highly respected Project Manager. Also because I'm working on my PMP and thought that maybe this book could help me better understand a few things.

  • Average at best.

Typical of "For Dummies" books, it spends over half the book telling you what it is going to teach you, and little on teaching you.
