Great Cd
I always was somewhat of a fan of 98 degrees and after Newlyweds I became a huge Nick Lachey fan. I always thought he had a great voice and being a singer myself i enjoyed singing along to his songs. After the complete failure of his first solo record, lamely named SoulO, with maybe 4 decent songs on it at best, i really felt bad for the situation he was in. He was not really respected by anyone in entertainment, becoming a target for punchlines on late night talk shows and award shows, and being known as "Jessica Simpsons husband." Well I had been rooting for him to make a comeback and I am happy to say the days of no one respecting him as an artist are over! This album is EXCELLENT!! It is unfortunate what has happened to him in his personal life but he turned an extreme negative into a ... With great uptempo ballads like the single 'What's Left of Me,' 'I Can't Hate You Anymore,' and 'Run to Me,' he pours out his heart and soul and it shows. He shows a mix of emotions, anger, forgiveness, and of course some sadness like on the great ballad 'Shades of Blue,'and then raps the record up with a song of sadness yet hope on the beautiful tearjerker 'Resolution.' So often you hear the female side of a breakup and how she was hurt, but Nick Lachey reminds us that us guys get burned too, and it hurts. He is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve and show his emotions, and I have a feeling he will be thanking himself for it when his album sales come in. GREAT JOB NICK

This album is brilliant. Most of it is penned by Lachey and even tho' i wanted more of Nick's R-N-B/Soul sound on the album, i'm very happy with the acoustic, but polished sound of the album. It's opens with the mega-hit of a 1st single. It's been in heavy rotation since April and leaked 2 the internet a month or 2 before that. The entire album is very autobiographical and every lyric has a purpose. The bulk of the album deals with lost love, recovering from past mistakes, examining himself as a young man, and the hope for better days. While every song is good, my personal favs are What's Left of Me, Outside Looking In, Shades of Blue, Ghosts...and my over all favorite Resolution. I think people from all ages and backgrounds will find something they like about the album, whether ... This album is brilliant. This is a great cd! Nick has never sounded better. His voice sounds richer and more grown up than his boy-band days. The songs are co-written by him during and after the breakup with Jessica. After watching the news and seeing stories in magazines about the two of them, I was interested in hearing his side of the story. I recommend this cd to anyone who can appreciate heartbreak and loss, and who loves great singing!This is a great cd! Nick has never sounded better. It is hot music & it will have a high resale value right here on ebay. Everyone is just obsessed with nick Lachey & Jessica simpson. Why not get some for yourself & sell at a later date! Not only do you get what you want but you may even MAKE money on buying items with their name attatched to it. Give it a try...at least your feedback score will go up! ;)
