Creating a dark and atmospheric ambiance throughout the game is Danny Elfman’s original score for 1989’s classic Batman movie. Take advantage of Bruce Wayne’s limitless resources in a mix of game settings, from sea to sky and back to the streets, with the Batboat, Batwing, and rocket-powered Batmobile. Power up with special ability-enhancing outfits like the magnetic suit. Use brand new skills, like tightrope walking between buildings. For the first time ever in LEGO Batman: The Videogame, play through Story Mode from the doomed perspective of Batman’s most notorious villains as they pursue their plans to wreak havoc on Gotham City. Offering excellent replay value in LEGO Batman: The Videogame for the PS2 is the free play mode, which allows players to use characters in Story Mode to access previously hidden areas. Collect LEGO studs and bricks throughout the game to unlock unique power-ups and bonus levels. Access unlocked material and additional characters from either the heroes’ level hub, the Batcave, or the villains’ counterpart, Arkham Asylum. It wouldn’t be a LEGO game without endless possibilities for customization, and LEGO Batman: The Videogame for the PS2 has plenty. Swap characters’ costumes for special attributes or get creative and build entirely new characters from the body parts of others, combining the disparate likes of Harley Quinn, Batman, Joker and the Mad Hatter. There are also plenty of unlockable characters, including Hush and Ra’s al Ghul, while a full suite of cheats expand the gameplay even further. Cheats for LEGO Batman: The Videogame include allowing players to unlock the game’s various content and characters, including Alfred the butler, Joker goon and Penguin goon submarine. Seamlessly integrating into the game world, cheats are entered into the Batcave computer. The game has been released and re-released on a range of consoles in addition to the PS2, including PlayStation 3, PSP, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360, LEGO Batman: The Videogame is an excellent and open-ended game for fans of the Caped Crusader. With sequel games for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U and Wii 3DS, LEGO Batman: The Videogame established a lasting legacy among gamers.

The glove is covered in mildew and needs a serious cleaning. Condition was listed as pre-owned, but that hardly portrays the smell and appearance of this item.

    Lego Batman My Son just loves it he says it's Assam!!

    My boy asked if he could have it. So why not you get to have fun with them for to short a time and then they are off having there own fun. You only get to Love them once like that. This game is a two person game and like all six year olds he is glued to it. Their is a lot of gun play and fighting. I do not think this is two bad ,for all the characters are made of Lego which is kind of cool.Their seems to be many many levels to the game so they aren't through playing in one evening. Ben Ten Alain force can be completely finished in a couple of hours.Not very good bang for the buck. We went to EB Games here in Canada Ontario Stratford and they wanted over 35.00 dollars So I went to Ebay and with shipping and all only paid 20,00 US. so all in all every one was happy.

    Fun for all ages

    LEGO Batman for the PS2 is a fun and challenging game for all ages. I enjoy playing it with my six year old. We work together to get through the levels. For a young player I like that it's fun and fast action but also is challenging and requires problem solving. As an adult, I find it amusing and like working through the levels. The graphics are great and the animation is smooth, especially when you consider how old the game is and the limitations of the console compared to today's systems. This is definitely a timeless game fun for all ages.

    HoLy Plastic "LEGO Batman"

    Got this for my 11 yr old son who adores everything Batman and is also visually impaired. We were leery at first due to the "darker" images being more difficult to see but he has yet to have problems with it. He had asked for this game in the Lego series to complete his collection and as always LEGO for PS2 did not fail to please. Some levels are more challenging than others but he has really enjoyed the fact its not "a cake game" some levels and missions as I said are easier than others but all in all highly recommended for most ages groups, I would say 7 and up. Under 7 might need some help.

    Ah my childhood

    I played this game originally on my ps3 in the late 2000’s and loved it. I never 100% it though. When building a library for my new ps2 getting this was a no brainer. Graphics and such are a bit downgraded but the game still looks and feels mostly the same and with the same content. One of the best LEGO games ever.

    A+++ for any child who loves legos and super heroes!

    The video game was a Christmas gift for my girlfriend's nephew and he loved the game! I found it amusing as well, the gameplay was definetly meant for a child's entertainment, rather than teenagers or adults, but it was fun to play indeed. It even has a new story plot once you finish the original storyline and you can play as one of the bad guys!!! I would recommend this game for little kids without a doubt!
