Actually not better than expected. This is my 3rd Moonlight bag and they have all been of high quality and function. I'd recommend the bag to anyone who would want to carry their clubs but finds it too difficult to carry a complete set. I'm sure I'll wear this one out and by another some time in the future.

This is the third iteration of Moon bags that I've had, and each one has been increasingly more sophisticated, has updated color options, and contains new features; however, the fact remains - this bag is the lightest, most comfortable, and has the easiest straps to fit and use of all available "Sunday" carry bags. Large pockets and pockets-within-pockets, even a clip for car keys, a beverage holder, double straps, a Velcro® glove holder, and a full-length divider that separates woods from irons are attributes that should make the simple pleasure of walking a golf course during a round one that instills in the user a sense of golf in its most serene and purest form. No fumes, no whining noises, no climbing in and out of an ungainly machine, no GPS to take away from the thinking part of golf as one walks alone to one's own ball to prepare for the next shot by judging the distance while accounting for topographical and climate conditions. The value goes far beyond its very reasonable price, as the bag encourages a golfer's connection to the course on which he/she is playing. They also wear like iron. Playing 80+ rounds a year in New England is a lot to ask from a little bag placed on the ground before each shot - in every kind of weather. Its featherweight design and materials make carrying a full set of 14 clubs a breeze. Ping once again had made golf so much more than the increasingly typical cigar and beer experience that novice and more advanced amateurs have come to believe is the norm. Good golf and good physical health go hand in hand, so get a Moon-lite bag and walk! I do not work for Ping, but Ping has worked for me since 1984Vollständige Rezension lesen
I have four iterations of the Ping MoonLite bag. This review is on the old lightweight stand bag, not the newer versions that are ultralight, do not have a stand, and indeed do not have complete spines. They are "Sunday" bags and worth their pricing, but they market to a different clientele. I recommend them. But the older bag has aluminum legs to support a large, padded mouth and adequate pockets. About 4 pounds. It has a single strap, but I think some Ping later models had dual straps. The single strap model works well, the bag remains balanced when full of clubs and the strap properly adjusted for the walker. It has a wooden dowel as a spine, so it is not a collapsible bag. Plus the legs when deployed help hold up and stabilize the bag. Because it is an earlier generation bag, many newer, slightly lighter carry bags are on the market. Sun Mountain, Callaway, Wellzher, Maxfli, TaylorMade, Cobra, and even the newer Ping bags use lighter fabrics, materials, and legs, but all only save maybe a pound of weight at the most. For the discounted price of this old bag compared to the modern bags, this bag fulfills the lightweight mantra at a very attractive price. I play 80 times per year and walk for my exercise, and I use the Sun Mountain 2Five bag. It is not an inexpensive item.Vollständige Rezension lesen
