Bit misleading to describe them as self sharpening as you have to manually run the blades through the edge of the sheath to sharpen. So basically, an ordinary pair of scissors with a separate sharpener. They also don't feel very robust. Disappointed, but they'll do. Thought they'd be actual self sharpening like a pair of Jakoti shears.

    Ceramic protection.

    I was concerned that mynew ceramic sink might get chipped. This mat should help avaid that. I had to cut it to size but that was easy. Very pleased

    Not the Best Quality

    This arrived rolled up, so despite our best attempts it won't lie flat, it was purchased as a replacement and this one is much thinner, it also has a hole in it, despite the picture not showing it. ... Not great as we want it to protect our Oak Worktop. If you are new to these they aren't a bad price but I would prefer to pay more for a quality product.

    A good asset on the draining surface

    This is my 2nd purchase of the same item. \It functions very well though this second item did not sit as well as the first. Ive turned it over and its fine. I recommend it. DB.

    Good but frustrating.

    This would be a very good item to save your wooden draining board. From 90%of the washing up water. But as a previous reviewer mentioned. It comes rolled up. But for some reason it is rolled up the opposite way so will not lay flat. And the end that should bend down into the sink. Sticks up not allowing the water to drain away.

    Heavy duty & large size

    This is a good quality thick rubber mat, I found it difficult to make it lie flat and because my draining board is not very big it hung over the centre bowl, in the right place it would be good
