Item described as deluxe but letters were awkward to insert but were not then securely held so could come adrift if board was moved. The letter racks were flimsy. The bag for the letters was too small so it was easy for letters to be lost. When secured by its tape it was too large to fit into its draw. When turned the turntable jutted out from the rest of the board so letter racks had to be held some 10 centimeters from the board and players could not easily see the board which then had to be moved obviating the purpose of having the turntable.,

The best in Scrabble boards especially if using regularly for more than 2 players and if players would otherwise easily knock tiles out of place during play. These can retail for £50 -£70 but if shop around for best price of around £39.99 posted to your door would definitely recommend that worth it. Integral turntable brilliant and smooth and really useful when playing with more than 2 players to easily turn board so each player in turn can see their way up. Integral Storage so can store all the bits needed in the drawer. In built pegs so can't loose them like other lesser deluxe version and prevent players accidently knocking tiles out of place - brilliant for those who are a bit clumsy, shaky or just inclined to knock tiles as with this board they can't! Also smart looking and durable and not heavy. So after seeing for myself playing on a friend's board, I knew the one for me and also secured funding for getting one for a local Scrabble club where a couple players there are clumsy and need this board with the permenant pegs. Have been after this particular Scrabble set for some time as I don’t think it’s widely available any longer; but finally managed to get a new one on line. It is really great looking and the board rotates nicely. Not cheap but I’ll get my money’s worth as it will be used for many years to come. Really pleased with it.

The individual trays to hold tiles would be easier to use if they were a little bigger. They are very difficult for arthritic fingers to manage.
