Back in Sep 2023, I started playing Pickleball about 1 to 2 times per month and played with the Bread and Butter "Filth". Good control paddle. I played doubles tennis (2nd team) in high school and so had some familiarity with a forehand top spin and backhand slices. Then in late Feb 2024, I recently started playing Pickleball more frequently about 1-2 times per week, and in April 2024, I'm now playing 2-3 per week. I needed a paddle with a little more pop than the Filth. I demo'd the Selkirk Luxx Control Air Invikta for 6+ matches and immediately noticed the difference. I loved it. I later tried the Carbon 3x (14 mm) about a week later, and it's a great paddle also, but a little too much pop, for me. The Carbon 3x (14 mm) is a great paddle. My two buddies use it and swear by it. For me, however, I love my Selkirk Luxx Control Air Invikta. It gives me just enough pop during my volleys at the Kitchen, and I don't have to swing as hard when returning deep serves or returns. I also believe it makes my off balance cross court dinks and saves easier. And yet, I still have enough control to put top spin or back spin on the ball. IMHO, it fits nicely between the "Filth" (control) and the Carbon 3x 14 mm (pop). Vollständige Rezension lesen
