I bought the ds lite as a Christmas present for my 6 yr old grandson. It's a great starter console although compared to the newer models of ds it seems quite basic in comparison . My grandson however seems to be managing with the controls & stylus and is really happy that he's now a big boy with a real ds !!! Personally I prefer the ds I xl with the larger screen &internet access but would definitely recommend the ds lite as a starter model .
Device is in good nick. Not an official stylus (bit chewed as well) and the sound bar is a bit stiff to move; otherwise happy with this purchase.

It was almost perfect, came really quickly and was almost full battery! The bad things were it didn’t come with a charger or stylus but apart from that it was great

Such a throwback and for the money you can’t go wrong with this little handheld, perfect device to play all your fav games if your bored or for your kids (I vote you have it for yourself)

Great device, my younger kids had this and also the dsi but while abroad they bought R4’s but they only work on the ds lite. My 4 year old had came across the games and had only the dsi, and he’s absolutely over the moon with it. He doesn’t even notice the little line across the screen. I’m very happy thanks

For its age and price is a perfect fun console. There are a ton of fun games not just for children. Battery life is unbelieveable besides our todays smartphones.

No need to waste time setting up consoles when toddlers unexpectedly arrive at your home, just hand them this small device & hear the yelps of delight as they entertain themselves for hours. Just make sure you purchase a carry case for when traveling, you won`t regret it! Games I advise you buy are any Spiderman, Mario, Luigi & Bowser in the title seem favorites, he`s only four & knew all their names from somewhere.

I am so glad I didn't buy a new one for my son , this is just as good and saved a fortune, my son wanted it on a whim as he already had an ipad ... I bought this to try and it's been great , no problems so excellent value!
