Very believble account of Revelation
The first book in the Left Behind Series, which is a fictional account of what could be a reality prophesized in the Book of Revelation in the Bible. The story is engaging and realistic giving you the feeling that it could happen. The authors start the story with a commercial airlines pilot whose family, except for his daughter, has disappeared into thin air. The phenomenon happened simultaneously throughout the world, giving the appearance to those "left behind" that God had taken the true believers to Heaven. The pilot is challenged to find the truth and the truth was in the Bible as the days following unfolded. Even though the book is a fictional story, the truth of the Bible from which it is based, strengthens your faith in the prophesy written in Revelation. A good used copy is ... Brilliant Idea to Supplement Bible Prophecy!
I'm thrilled at the fact that this book allows you to read along in your Bible ,in order to better help you understand the overall plot. Even if you do not believe in prophecy or the Bible, this book is quite suspenseful to the extreme. Once I picked it up I could not put it down. There are several more books in the series, and they promise even more of an adrenaline rush, as more and more Darkness from Satan spreads over the world. The Bible predicts that only about 1/4 of the worlds remaining population, after the Rapture, will still be alive to see God establish his Millenial Kingdom. The Light of God however, still manages to appear when least expected. I appreciated being able to follow the main characters on an individual basis as well as on a group basis, as they each face their own ... Lahaye and Jenkins have truly created a masterpiece series in which all emotions will be felt. Follow the main characters on their search for the truth in finding their salvation before they are eternally damned. You know what they say, "It's better late, than never."

Left Behind Series
This is a wonderful series of books to read. Pleasurable reading as well as very informative about giving you an idea about the end times. Would highly recommend!!!

Finally have all the books
Excellent. I was looking to replace all of my books of this set. This was the last. I have all 16 including the 3 prequels and the conclusion. I had originally read this first book, and was hooked. Read the whole set. Gave the set to a friend to read, and never saw it again. Then they came out with the prequels. I got those, and then gradually replaced the original set of 12...except this first book. Since I had all Hardcovers, I wanted that for all of them. I now have all. Now I will start and re--read set from The Rising to Kingdom Come. So happy!Excellent. I was looking to replace all of my books of this set. This was the last. Get this book!
I bought this book on a whim; no concrete reason. It is an amazing read. It is quick and easy if you want to skim it or it has deep relevant information if you really read it for information. I found myself going back again and again. It really spoke to me and because it answered many of the questions I have had, I have now bought several and given them to friends and family. Again, get this book--it is great. Not a pie in the sky warm fuzzy, it is good reading.I bought this book on a whim; no concrete reason. It is an amazing read.
