    Nice piece of kit

    A really useful addition to my DeWalt 18v collection of tools. Light but sturdy and easy to set the amount you want to remove each pass. Well worth looking at the online videos of how to use the planer as there are many features that are not obvious especially given the book you receive with it only covers basic operations of the tool

    Cordless Planer

    Had an 240v Makita planer since 1990's and still work's as good as ever. But cables trailing and rain are a hazard so as the Makita was about £290 for body this is about £140 body, delivered. Smooth operation, quick charge and a handy compartment to store spare blades which is very handy when you need a spare quickly on the job. Al in more than satisfied with DeWalt.

    A no brainer choice if you have other XR tools

    Having other XR equipment the choice to buy this when l needed a power plane was was a no-brainer, and like all DeWalts XR range it performs faultlessly and does the job perfectly. I've had B&D, Makita, and Bosch, but for me DeWalt are the masters.

    Quality once again

    As always Dewalt is quality this planer is easy to use and powerful to do the job. It will make easy weather of plaining any door and does not seem to wear the battery down would say that the dust bag can be more trouble than it is worth unless really needed as can block but in someone's house it is better than chasing shavings all over the house
