These are grat 'plug and play' via the 3 pin seatalk bus (two ports). they can connect to any existing seatalk and repeat the wind data to a second station / eg below decks (i used it in this way, with an ST 60 / 6000/1/2 on deck and the ST290 below at chart table - great.).
