8 threads. 4 cores. What more could you need for your 1155 socket. You cannot get any better. Oc to 4.5 easily - up the voltage and get 4.9 maybe 5.

Had an i5 3750k and wanted to upgrade as I use my computer for more intensive productivity tasks now, and games take greater advantage of CPU power since the release of the new consoles. Won the auction at £108.00 GBP which is a great price that I'm very pleased with. Was delivered 2 days later. Installed it on the day and it worked perfectly, computer is quite a bit quicker at some things. Very pleased.

Latest and fastest processor for LGA 1155. Comparsion with Intel Celeron G1620 is hard. 3770K product too much heat, need big cooler. I used G1620 with PASSIVE COOLER, no fan at temperatures 40-50C overtacted. With G1620 computer run smoother. With 3770K is faster, but dint run smooth, microfreezes. 3770K is unlocked, can be overtacted to 4.5GHz, but you need have luck, to temperature core balanced processor. Frequency overtacting isnt posibble, max 6 Mhz=6%. I have not good, second core have +10 degrees more then other. Best alternative will be unlocked celeron procesor for office use. But it dont exists. So you can use Intel i5 unlocked, less money, less heat, same single core power.
Got it to 4ghz, stock voltage literally outta the box, would recommend gettin a decent water cooler to bang the CPU up to a higher frequency, good price performance.

Amazing processor for its age is really solid for reliability. I have managed to overclock to 4.7ghz with a liquid cpu cooler h80i. Now is super fast and can handle any AAA title Game you throw at it. Iam running with a Sapphire RX570 8Gb graphics card which I have over clocked too.
