Acclaimed designer Tomonobu Itagaki has altered the original title's fast-paced combat system to incorporate new weapons, attacks, and special finishing moves called "obliteration techniques." <br><br>In an attempt to appease those who thought the original game was too challenging, the developers have included an automatic health regeneration system and a choice of four difficulty levels, ranging from "acolyte" to "master ninja." The all-new story mode follows Ryu in his trek from Tokyo to New York to a demon-populated netherworld. While the game is still strictly a single-player experience, Xbox Live subscribers will be able to record, modify, and post film clips of their most manic maneuvers for the online world to enjoy.

    Good. But not excellent.

    Pros: Graphics are beautiful. Fighting animations are lovely. Weapon choices are vast. controls are very responsive. Cons: Camera. Camera. Camera. Although you can control the camera you WILL be annoyed at the angles it choices to stand at. During battles the camera will rotate to the most awkward angles. The difficulty of the game can feel very cheap at times. No matter how skilled you are at this game a limbless baddie can suicide attack you for half your health gauge. Although having so many weapons to choice from can be fun you will find yourself picking only a couple of the weapons to use through out the game. Story line could use some work. Overall the game is fun and well worth a good price.

    Ninja Gaiden II: Ninja Harder

    If you're looking for a manic hack and slash with decent move variety and a solid combo system then Ninja Gaiden II is for you. If you hate story and small breasts then Ninja Gaiden II is for you. If you love blood and dismemberment then Ninja Gaiden II is still for you. In my opinion, the most recent entries in the Ninja Gaiden series are far superior to Devil May Cry in the gameplay department. Graphically speaking, Ninja Gaiden is polished and shiny but lacks any real lighting engine. The game isn't the best looking but it does offer an intense amount of action with minimal framerate loss. Ninja Gaiden II seems easier then the first but it is also possible that I'm getting better. The blood/gore doesn't really add more to the gameplay and any sane person will stop caring about the ...

    In this action packed sequel to Ninja Gaiden you are Ryu Hayabusa the ultimate Ninja action hero. Destroy everything in your path as you embark on a quest to avenge your clan and prevent destruction of the human race from a brutal and relentless enemy. Armed with special moves, deadly weapons and the ruthlessness of a Ninja, you shall leave a wake of death in the name of honor. I purchased this item primarily as I did not have the manual for the copy of the game that I already own. The first thing that I did not like about this product is that the seller did not mention that there was a burn ring on the disc from the laser-lense.     Ninja Gaiden 2 (Xbox 360)

    Back to battle the minions of evil once more, Ryu Hyabusa returns as our ninja brandishing spandex ready to deal damage by the dozens in this non-stop action romp. If you were a fan of the first Xbox release, you'll know what to expect and you will not be dissapointed. This is hack n' slash at its very best. Buckets of blood, busty vixens, and flying appendages make this title both recommended for a more mature audience, and not for the faint of heart.     A very good game... for the hardcore 8.2/10

    The sequel to the 2006 masterpiece didn't quite live up to that hype. Still, this is a very good game. Graphic Pro: just when you thought it couldn't get any better on the original Ninja Gaiden, Team Ninja pushed the power of the 360 to the limit. Environments are superb, with enemies and bosses highly detailed and crisp in their movements. Con: The issue of camera's angle can get quite frustrating in the heat of battle. Story: Not as thrilling and exciting as the first one. Pretty straight forward. Combat: Very challenging. The refill health meter after encounter is a good addition. The executions are fun ways to annihilate your enemies.
