Ok guide
To sum my feelings up about this special edition guide: Not worth the typical $30 you'll see it selling for unless you're a Kingdom Hearts fanatic, tons of info, yet some of it is info you can read in the game. Only one strategy to fight bosses: use the Trinity Limit attack over and over. As I said before, you'll want this if you're a Kingdom Hearts fan looking for collectibles, but for a players guide, it's.... kinda different, just because it actually is meant to be a collectible, and that partially interferes with it's function as a players guide. There are two books: One is the actual guide that walks you through the game, minigames, and explains and reveals all stats and attributes for Sora and team members (abilities gained at certain levels, how to acquire drive forms and ... The second book just shows descriptions that are found in the game about the characters, and checklists for things like completing objectives or finding synthesis materials. I bought this book mostly hoping to find a strategy to beat Sephiroth, who, if you've played halfway through this game, or played Final Fantasy 7, you know who I'm talking about, but if not, he is a freakishly powerful boss in this game. And when I finally found it, I was disappointed, as said before, in ALMOST every boss battle, the author suggests the same strategy... which didn't work for me. However, using the book, I found out about the "Fatal Crest" Keyblade, and how to obtain it, and managed (still by sheer luck) to defeat Sephiroth. Case in point here: This strategy guide does cover everything in the game, but don't expect it to give you a direct (or easy) way to do something, and you will have to go back and forth in the guide to get all your answers. Finally, the only reason this got a good rating is because it's collectibility makes something nice to look at even if you're not playing the game. If you don't want that, save money and just buy the normal guide.

Very useful guide. Don't start your game without it.
This book helped me out a lot. I've always been a visual person, and this book illustrates many parts and helped me out quite a bit. It points out item locations, uses for items, weapons, side quests, and a bestiary. It really helps to know what you need before you actually do it in the game.

This is a very in depth guide for the game and has all the details of the game. It also looks very nice for a collector of the game.
