I bought a replacement cable for my cioks power supply, the seller advertised it as original he even added pictures of the original cable. I received a Chinese generic cable from the brand TAKAHAMA in a ziploc bag with a sticker from a domestic printer from the brand cioks, the seller didn’t cared he didn’t give an option to make a return or a refund. The seller and eBay just made bad excuses to deny the refund, fortunately PayPal refund me. If you want your money be safe buy from Amazon!

Brilliant, elegant, functional, design. It doesn't get much better.
I got exposed to the AKG K271s when I was tracking my first album in 5 different studios. One of the studios, where I spent the bulk of my tracking time [200 hrs] had these. I was sold in the first session. These you could keep on for hours without major ear irritation and, for folks that wear glasses like me, they don't grind your glasses ear stems into your head or at least way less than other headphones. The K271s also have a great feature in that you can peel off one ear and the audio to that ear stops. That's great for tracking string players who typically want to track with only one ear in the phones; the same is true for choir members. These work wonderfully for those applications. I also keep a pair plugged into my Roland XV-88 keyboard when playing it. It almost ... I got exposed to the AKG K271s when I was tracking my first album in 5 different studios. Frequency spectrum is hugely wide, bass is solid and fat, and highs are crisp and clean. I have 8 pairs of these in my little home studio for tracking small choir groups and I even keep a couple as safety spares but that is probably pointless since they aren't likely to go out anytime soon. If you are particular about the country of manufacture [some are some aren't], the K271s come in two issues: the original issue was simply called "K271 Studio" and they were Made in Austria, the subsequent issue are what we have now the "K271 MKII" which is actually Made in China. I, personally, have no issues with the people of China but I do have issues with their government. That being said, BOTH issues are outstanding in quality. Functionally, I also love that the pads are easily replaceable and they come in two textures: plastic/leatherette and felt. I have found the felt to be better for very long sessions as they don't retain as much heat. These phones are also light feeling and don't weigh down your head after long periods of usage. The headstrap is very comfortable and it allows for easy auto-adjustment when you put them on. You don't have to fidget with getting them just right on your ears and head. They do that for you. Brilliant, elegant, functional design. It doesn't get much better. I wish all pro audio equipment was as functional, affordable, and well-designed as these phones.

You know... My first thought of considering a $300 + pair of headphones as apposed to say ones in the 150 range (like the sonys I was considering) was "Im sure they're a bit better.... but are they two times better? am I getting what I paid for?" The first song I listened to was an experience. I gotta say. These headphones sound amazing. With a frequency range covering all audible frequencies (says the specs I havent actually done tests yet) I am using these headphones for studio use as I am a sound engineer and therefore need closed back headphones so no sound bleeds. Not only do these headphones sound great but you can wear them for hours without feeling like the headphones are squishing you head which I found with lots of other pairs of headphones. Good Brand, ... You know... Ive also used AKGk240 studios and k240 and they are of equal quality just without some features (K271's mute the signal when you take the headphones off your head)

For quiet home use? Perfect.
When I bought these headphones I had been looking around for a replacement for some cheap ones I had had beforehand that had broken. After shopping around I found these to be a really good balance between high quality and still not too expensive. I do think they are a little lacking in bass but overall they sound fantastic with a really good balance of sounds. Every sound is most clear. For those that are looking for casual headphones to use around everyday or on travel, these may not be suitable since they are studio headphones, are quite large and bulky. They cannot be worn around the neck comfortably either. But for those that are looking for well rounded headphones with strong sound for computer work, sound or music work or for use in an actual studio, they are perfect since ... A set to remember
If you're looking in to buying these akg's you won't be disappointed. The sound quality is amazing and with the right amp(portable or not), you're audio experience will just get better. For all those bass heads out there, the k271's aren't too bass heavy(then again its not really what akg's are know for) but they do provide nice clean bass lines that will definitely please the ears. I listen to everything, from hip-hop to classical music and I'm very please at how the k271's handle the variety. I strongly recommend putting the velor pads on as soon as you get it. Not only are they more comfortable but man are they way cooler than the leather pads and i don't mean the style kind of cool(although they do look nice, in case you're ... Atleast in my experience. i lasted about a train ride with the leather pads but only because i kept taking my headphones off to cool my ears. Again, this is just my personal experience. i know plenty of people who prefer the leather. try it out. Now back to the nitty gritty, these headphones block a large amount of noise just by putting them on, no music. with music, that is all you're going to hear YOUR music, not your music and the persons conversation next to you. The k271's are a bit big, but then again if your looking into akg's your definitely not worried about size. Despite their size, they're actually quite light. A lot lighter than i thought they'd be. well that's my 2 cents. They're a great pair and definitely will not disappoint. GET THEM ALREADY!!!!

Best Headphones Ever
These headphones are the real deal, they not only sound great they are super comfortable to wear. the signal response is superb! Have no fear, they are the best bang for your buck!!! Studio quality for any setting.
