Bobcat Miner 300 works as expected
While one could build a HNT miner for much less money, the cost in time needed to learn how to do so would surely exceed the cost of buying a Bobcat. The device itself feels well-made but is quite light. The antenna has a magnet built into the base which is pretty nice. It supports both Ethernet and WIFI (2.4Ghz but not 5Ghz). The app used for connecting seems pretty good; however, know that the antenna height you set during setup rounds down to the nearest whole number. Don't enter a height of 4.9 meters because it will save it as 4.0 meters; though, it's not a big deal to update your antenna height once you've mined some HNT. It took perhaps 3 days for me to download the blockchain, which happened automatically after I added it to my WIFI. I did have to modify my WIFI's settings ... While one could build a HNT miner for much less money, the cost in time needed to learn how to do so would surely exceed the cost of buying a Bobcat. However, I have encountered multiple instances of my Bobcat getting out-of-sync with the blockchain; I don't know if it's Bobcat or Helium or my connection or what; perhaps its just growing pains. Finally, I've successfully used discovery mode to connect to a nearby miner. As far as I can tell, this device works as expected; I do not regret buying it.

Disappointed, but hopeful
This is a review of the product and not the seller. The bobcat 300 hardly earns me anything. My roi at this rate will be well over a year. In all fairness it looks like I’m not in a great area. I’ve doubled down and bought a top of the line antenna and a 20’ radio pole to mount it on. I’m hoping these upgrades will make it worth the investment. The unit is built of cheap plastic and the antenna cable easily detached from the connector end. The design was also not well though out. There is a wall and ceiling in very close proximity to the antenna connection leaving you only two sides to work to try and screw in the antenna. This is best left to a child with small fingers. Very Finicky But Worth It
Not a huge fan of the fact that you have to do so many things just to get the miner syncing, online, and mining. Changing router ports etc. Anyway, after all is said and done it is worth it. I like the design, hangs on wall mount nicely. Seems to be accumulating coins well.

This is a good vendor but sadly helium doesn’t make enough money in my area
I installed an outdoor antenna, used a cat8 Ethernet cable for maximum speed, and used a lmr400 antenna cable but unfortunately the earnings are really low in my area. It’s better to buy the machine when in a good area.
