too much, but they are a little expensive. I got a refurbished set and a squaretrade warranty and save a couple bucks. I occasionally experience a very brief echo/ring at the end of my sentence when speaking to people on these phones. It's weird, but not a major concern. Otherwise the quality is just fine. I wanted to purchase a set of phones for my new magicjack service (VIOP) because I get crappy cell reception at my house. The one other concern I have may not be the fault of the phones. The caller ID does not display the numbers of my incoming calls. Probably magicjacks fault, or possibly because they were refurbished. The names I have saved in the phone books do come up in the display... sometimes... for incoming calls. I've had my phones for about 2 months. The reviews looked good and trusted the panasonic name. One other major benefit of these phones are the DECT standard. Wiki it. Major selling point. sound quality: 4/5 ease of menu: 3/5 features: 5/5 battery life: 5/5Vollständige Rezension lesen
This portable phone is proof that all your research can lead you astray. I liked the idea that the phone is on a frequency that isn't interfered with by other electronics, that it has a built-in answering machine, and can be expanded to six handsets. So I bought one. It came with 2 handsets, and I couldn't wait to try it. Oh, and it also uses 2 NiMH AAA batteries, no special expensive replacement batteries to buy. Sounds great, doesn't it? Well, no, actually; sound quality is way below par. When I speak into it, I hear a very faint echo of my voice, and the person I'm talking to sounds tinny. Oh well, my search for the perfect portable phone continues....
Delivery fast. Quality excellent. However, I could not get the phones to work until I downloaded a manual and...found that the phones needed to be sync with the base. The procedure was clear in the manual. After that, all was well.

The ring is loud, the phones are lite, and there's caller ID with the names included. This phone definitely portrays the standards of 21st century digital technology. Even has double AA batteries for power rather then those big clunky old specialized batteries. Only con i can think of is its lite weight plastic construction. Not sure how it will withstand a fall or accidentally stepping or sitting on it. Hey its only 50 bucks so you cant go wrong either way
I looked at a lot of models and reviews and product manuals before buying. This phone replaces my old 900MHz phone, so I don't have a lot of experience with other "modern" cordless phones, but I still think I must have gotten one of the best phones on the market, for the price. First of all, DECT 6.0 - don't leave home without it. Seems to have very good sound quality, and range is great. I walked most of the way down the block before it started breaking up, so I know I'll have no problem anywhere in my yard. Going to your neighbor's house? Just carry the phone with you! The security of DECT 6.0 is also something I wanted. Menus are pretty easy to navigate. Good feature list. Handset speakerphone works well. Answering machine helps me do away w/ another machine, and it's nice that I can listen to messages, as well as record new greetings from the handset, or remotely calling in. My uncle & aunt have the same phone (I think), and they use the intercom all the time. Phone displays a call timer, which is handy. The redial list is very handy, but just make sure to delete private calls, or calls where you're asked to enter account numbers, etc. via the keypad. Backlit display so you can use it anywhere. Stylistically, it fits me - I have a lot of silver and black electronics. The keypad numbers are nice and bold, and press easily. I've had no problem w/ battery time, yet, but if you do, just switch out the batteries. They come w/ 550mAh AAA NiMH; just replace w/ 1000mAh AAA NiHM. Things they could do better on this phone: - Numeric message indicator on base unit - Keypad lock (But lots of other phones don't have these features either.) A couple notes on usage, which I didn't see covered in the manual, but are pretty intuitive: - To cancel speakerphone during a call, press TALK. - To backspace while entering a number, press CLEAR (not -). If you're considering this phone, and its features meet your needs, look no further.
