Proud owner of a 1998 HD Fatboy 95th Anniversary edition, which I'm getting painted as we speak. Not braggin, telling you that because it mean's I have my bike disassembled right now, which made the installation even easier. Got this system a week or so ago and it's not quite riding weather in Indiana yet so I can't comment on that yet, but I did get them installed. The install was pretty easy, I ran my power through the ACC line (ignition switch) so it has constant power when the bike is on. The way I figure, if I'm riding I'll probably be jamming, too. I did buy a separate on/off switch that I can add to the configuration later if I decide I don't want it on all the time, cost about ten bucks and will plug right in if/when I want it. The whole install took about an hour. I put two speakers on the crash bars and two on my handlebars, directly in front of me. I mounted the amp to the frame in the front, sort of behind the forks, near the top of the frame where the tanks sit. I used 3M tape and some zip ties. Again, haven't ridden yet, but seems good. The amp isn't too big, either. I got the main bulk of wires and connectors stuffed into the center of the frame, so they're all hidden by the tanks. Ran my volume control right up next to my clutch, kind of tucked away. All in all, it looks great. Plugs right into any sound device you have, phone, IPod, MP3 player, etc. Sound wise, these things sound good. They're loud as s**t haha. Not a lot of bass, but what do you expect from a small speaker, really? They seem to be nice and clear up to about 90% volume then get kinda distorted. Started the bike and was def still able to hear over the revving motor, and my bike is pretty loud. Like I said, can't beat for the price. As long as they last at least a year I'm winning haha. Can't wait for the weather to break so I can put some rubber down, be safe out there riders!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good clear sound speaker system. The speaker wires could be longer, and the brackets wire connections could have been made with better materials to make a better connection. It would of sound great with some bass since it feels like it has none.

Installed this on my 2001 Heritage Softail. Took about an hour for complete install. Sound quality is good. Plays from my iPhone. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering the purchase. Like anything else, if you don't abuse the item, it will work well for you.
