Final Fantasy III (Nintendo DS)
Right off the bat that good 'ole Final Fantasy music from decades ago plays upon entering the main menu screen. It was a good start! The battle scenes (when both starting and ending) also have the same familiar sound effects, as does going into towns/dungeons/tunnels. Sadly, though, you get the airship early in the game. But wait, it's only used for 2 missions, then it's gone again. A nice spin indeed, but set me up for high adventure, then taken away. Hopefully I'll get it back someday... All-in-all, this is a great continuation of a truly wonderful and masterfully-crafted title, and that goes without further review!

Age of Empires III The Asian Dynasties Official Guide
I enjoyed reading this book, since it does give you a good overview of the abilities of each new civilization, as well as a few in-game tips and pointers... Those used to playing the original Age of Empires III, or even The War Chiefs will have to re-adjust their tactics a bit with this new expansion pack. I enjoy all the differences of each civilization, especially since I used to play the first AoE back in 1999 or so...we've come a long way, baby!
