As previous reviews state you will need a power source to run this charger. I made up connectors for use on a 12V battery. I also purhcased a 120/12V converter off ebay for about 10 bucks and wired it up. 12V 10A 120W is the power supply I used and it is working well. If you can get a 12.5V or 13V for the same price I would go with that. This uses XT60 connectors for the power input so don't expect to use an old laptop charger to run it unless you know how to wire up the connector.

Purchased this Charger to use with LiPo Turnigy batteries. The charger works beautifully & am very pleased with it BUT the cables supplied were a mishmash was no cable to connect from the Charger to the Male/Female Turnigy connector on the battery!!! Had to Mail order a connector cut one of the cables supplied & solder in the Turnigy connector & then had a complete working system.

I needed an lihv charger. This one has that ability and more. The cooling fan is fairly quiet, and the charger doesn't get very warm like the b6 I used before. It doesn't come with a connector for the input power. It is an xt-60 end so easy enough to make one however, it isn't ready to go straight from the box. The music tones on the charger are also much less annoying than my b6

This charger is perfect for my budget and usage. I have smaller batteries 1,2 and 3s 1000mah lipos. I use an old laptop charger as a power supply(15v 5a). I am able to charge at recommended c rating which is usually much faster than the usb type chargers that come with most prebuilt quads, cars, trucks and planes.

Look, this thing is about as good as you can get for $40. There is also the ISDT SC-608 which has a much better screen but you loose USB and Temp Probe... Of course with the quality of the screen it has you really just loose Temp Probe and I don't use that anyways. Regardless this thing is awesome but please don't be the guy who thinks this thing is ready to rock and plug into an AC power supply. Bottom line to own this thing you must: Be a do it yourselfer Own a soldering iron Be fairly tech savvy Have a spare PC PSU laying around and know how to jump it or Be prepared to buy a fairly expensive 12V power supply and be prepared to solder the correct connector onto the end of it. I use a mean well se-350-12 but I am guessing a LRS-150-12 is enough and it costs half as much. Please understand that a 300W PC power supply cannot supply 300W to a single 12V output cable... which is why again you really really need to know what your doing if you buy one of these.Vollständige Rezension lesen
