Jeff Bridges comes back in his role as Kevin Flynn the brilliant gaming software engineer who got control of his games in the first movie. Now Flynn has disappeared and left his son Sam (Garrett Hedlund) and other board of directors at his company thinking he either left or died. Through a series of events his son discovers that Flynn re-entered the digital world and has been living there. This is not a remake of the original movie, rather it is a continuation of the story. The graphics have been advanced to todays technology but all the original games have been incorporated in this sequel. The story was good and the acting was above average but it lacked some of the flair you might expect, especially in the digital animation. However it was still a good movie and will be a good addition to the collection right next to the original movie. Of note is the return of Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley and Tron. In this edition you receive the Blu-ray version, the DVD version and the Digital copy along with the extra disks.Vollständige Rezension lesen
Tron Legacy is an EXCELLENT movie if you like sci-fi, CGI special effects, attractive women, cool outfits, & an awesome soundtrack! This 5-disc set includes the original Tron movie from 1982 - obviously this classic movie is no match to today's cool graphics & special FX movie productions. Still, good to see the original which has many items carried over into the sequel Legacy. I only have 2D HDTV & blu-ray player for now, so couldn't experience the 3D blu-ray Legacy disc. Overall, a great buy!
you gotta pick this movie up. especially on blu ray. with the special effects the way they are today and on blu ray. also jeff bridges comes back for the second installment of this movie. you also have to pickup the first movie on blu ray as well because of the special effects.

Good package, fans wont be disappointed. The only thing sub-par to me is the bare-bones fly-out menu for the DVD extras that were taken from the 20th anniversary Tron DVD. The 20th anniversary DVD had an awesome menu and featurette launch animations that should have been incorporated/adapted into this set.
