Although this doesn't provide the protection of a flight case it does have it's advantages, it's light and easy to install it's protective qualities are adequate for transporting to venues just as long as you remember to place the item instead of throwing it in . I have used adjustable flight cases in the past and found them ok but with age comes the inevitable back ache and the lighter the better, highly recommended in all aspects, first rate equipment.
