It lists as a Braun, but I knew that there was no way it is one. The price is way too low. However it shaves really well. I cut the European cord end on and replaced it with a standard American two pronged plug and it charges just fine.

This shaver gives me the best shave of any electric shaver I have tried, has handy features such as a sideburn trimmer, and recharges easily. It is well worth the price and better than cheaper shavers. I just bought a second one as a gift.

I have many electris shavers, and I think this is the best one. I had a Braun 6520 for several years, and it was almost the same, but not quite as fast, or close shaving. It's batteries finally wore out. This new model has slightly bigger holes for the beard hairs, and gets real close, but once in a while will pull a hair, if you go to fast. I wish that it would run with the charging wire pluged in, like the old model. I used it for a long time with only the wire for power. I need to try the New one in the shower, and see how it goes. -- I think that Braun may be the best elestric shavers on the market.
I have been using Braun electric shavers for many years. I probably buy a new one every 12 to 15 months. My recently purchased shaver doesn't seem to have the power my previous shavers had. It feels like the motor should be cutting a a faster speed.

Have to go over entire beard areas several times to get a reasonable shave...one pass makes very little difference...am trying to convince myself to not send it back ( return it ). Tell me if a more expensive Braun razor would shave better, and if so, WHY....please be frank!
