The Marantz NA 7004 is not a receiver but a network player; via an ethernet port it has an IP address that can search for any radio stations on the internet. It also has built-in airplay - an Apple technology where it can play iTunes, Youtube, Pandora, etc from an Apple device. It also has the Marantz/Denon vTuner where you can review literally thousands of stations by country, genre, and locality and then add them to your favorites. It can also play music from a DLNA server - a type of hard drive/storage device in your home just in case you have thousand of songs on it. The NA7004 was manufactured in 2012 and has two digital outputs: toslink and coax. It will take some time to understand all that it does especially if you do not have any other Denon/Marantz equipment. The NA7004 has a great sound; however, this is an audiophile product so using cheap cables won't bring out its best sound. If you look you should be able to find one for less than $300. The newer ones don't have a coax digital out, which is a must for really great sound. I rated it as excellent because of the price and able to easily enhance music appreciation for that price range.Vollständige Rezension lesen

There are many more modern DACs that offer more these days. But this one is easily upgraded for Bluetooth, Airplay, or other input. The coolest thing: I emailed Marantz asking for the Airplay upgrade. The offer had expired five years ago. They gave it to me anyway for free anyway.
