This is a great recipe book for anyone looking to eat healthy. The recipes are easy to follow, and most ingredients you probably have in your pantry. The Cowboy Stew is my husband's favorite -- and he doesn't usually like soups and stews! All the recipes I've tried are very tasty, and I'd recommend this book to everyone, especially those involved with Weight Watchers.
I was excited to get this cookbook, until it came. These might be good 'Weight Watchers' meals, but they aren't the kind of meals that any average Americans I know, would make. Maybe it should be called the SNOB All-Time Favorites... Black Bean "Caviar"?... Fettuccine w/ Gorgonzola & Toasted Walnuts?... Smoked Salmon w/ Goat Cheese?... Frisee Salad w/ Truffled Eggs?... Tabbouleh-Pomegranate Salad?... Minted Zucchini Soup?... Artichoke Frittatas?... Pomegranate & Anise-Poached Grapefruit? Who comes up with this stuff?? The layout of this cookbook is great, with specifics about prep/cooking times and nutritional information. I just wish they were dishes that I would actually serve my family. Call me hick, but I'd rather learn how to cook a lean, moist chicken or hearty, lowfat baked-potato soup. I'm not looking to be the next Martha Stewart!Vollständige Rezension lesen
A wide variety of recipes. Very easy to understand, and they give you points value. Love that it is a ring binder! Different catagories which is great but also sometimes confusing. My husband and I bought it because we are doing Weight Watchers and it's much easier to follow a reciepe, I didn't want just one type of cuisine.
Pefrfect for my goals, also includes meatless receipes, Easy to use pages, so happy with this purchase,

I borrowed the book from my local library not nowing what to expect. My family has loved everyone I have cooked. The shrimp Gumbo and the steak was their favorites. Even though they were slow cooker ones. I did them on the stove top, on medium high heat for two hours. I also liked the meals in 15min. There are some parts of the cook book I won't use, but isn't every cook book like that. The nutrion facts are the best at the bottom. We are not on weight watchers but are trying to become healthy eaters. So we loved this book!!!!! I am buying one right know!
