The story is about the same as The Warriors, although more martial arts style with poorer writing. Some good fighting scenes, although not nearly enough. Apart from the lack/shortness of some fighting scenes, and the at times cheesy dialogue, the movie is well made although not as satisfying as it could have been. Still, I can recommend it for anyone who likes martial arts movies or is in general interested in film(and knows what to expect), just because theres some good moves (acrobatics & kicks) and the overall creativity production-wise is worth a look. Although don't get your hopes up too high.
I liked this movie its a good fighting movie but it lacks a wow factor. If your into just fighting movies buy it if your looking for a good storyline with it look elsewhere
A lot of people wouldn't like this movie mainly because it isn't a huge hollywood hit, but for people like me who enjoy watching this type of movie it's simply wonderful.
Shot on location in and aroud Glasgow, it makes interesting viewing for a Glaswegian, trying to spot where the various locations are. However, as a martial arts/ action movie, it falls down as many of the fight scenes seem quite stilted and the movie borrows heavily from other films. The plot is basically that of The Warriors with a hint of martial arts grafted onto it. The best part of the movie is the devastatingly gorgeous Rachel Grant and her limited screen time. I decided to buy this as a novelty purchase (a futuristic martial arts movie, set in Glasgow!!!!) and didnt set my hopes too high for it but upon viewing it, I wished I hadn't.
