another decent sequel!
I love haunted houses movies, but was skeptical with this one. Even though the first one was decent, it got a little tiresome after watching it. The first house in haunted hill was a fairly good remake, the only thing I think was the best was James Masters who by the way played Spike on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But I found the sequel is a bit better. I had purchaced the movie because Ive heard some good reviews on it and thought Id take a chance on it and really liked it-better than the first. Some college students and a proffesor go back to the hospital to reteive an ancient statue all to end up trapped in the hospital when it goes into lockdown,and the spirits of the place want to get their revenge on the psycho doctor who had kept their souls there. Why better then the 1st with a great storyline
I was left a little bored with the original remake of the film. I really like this film they did a great job creating a storyline in more detail on what drove the house. More focus on the actual story & not just characters getting killed for know reason. With great flashbacks to the torture that made the house such a horror. I liked it a lot when it comes to horror i look @ every little detail. So if the 1st left you hanging going it was okay I guess. Give the sequel a try it 1 of the few times a sequel is actually better then the 1st. Hit yes for me, OnemixerI was left a little bored with the original remake of the film. Good movie...
To be honest I decided to purchase this movie because Andrew-Lee Potts was in it. I had seen it on TV and wanted to actually watch it uncut. For a sequel it was good. It was scary in parts...or maybe disturbing would be a better word. I didn't think I would like it the first time I saw it but I was kinda surprised. And it helps that Andrew-Lee is in pretty much the whole movie. He is so cute and funny and his American accent is...adorable. I thought the plot was good being a sequel. It kinda made sense unlike some most sequels. Being a ghost story parts were unbelievable of course. But as long as you don't try to analyze everything and just sit back and enjoy, its pretty good.To be honest I decided to purchase this movie because Andrew-Lee Potts was in it.
