This camera takes you back to the basics of SLR photography. It handles very well and has great retro looks. It is also a good deal lighter than the modern digital equivalent semi professional cameras (e.g. Canon 50D). Most prime lenses are available at relatively reasonable prices second hand at your local camera shop or on e-bay (but beware fungus on those lenses sold online where they are poorly described/photographed). A film camera may mean you are more likely to get prints rather than the picturs sitting on your hard drive. I have loved using the OM2 as an additional camera to my usual digital SLR.
It's an OM2SP actually - but what a gem! Superclear viewfinder, lovely shutter action and those Zuiko lenses are superb, my OM came with a 50mm f1.8 when I saw the results I splashed out £90 on a second hand f2.8 135mm Zuiko - they're both great performers. The metering is spot on (no pun intended), all the controls work as they should and it's a joy to use. I take it on my photowalks alongside my D90 and find myself using it almost as much. Would I buy another? In a heartbeat. ;)) Long live film!
The OM2 is small SLR which is well balanced, I used one for years and to me the quality beats my digital Canon any day. Great for Black and White pictures, buy color film and develop in B/W much cheaper then monochrome film. Olympus lens are great quality with very smooth movements.

Everything has already been said about this camera. I like the smallness, however, there is little to hold onto, I suppose because 'grip-engineering' wasn't really a thing when this was designed

Arrived pretty much the next day. Quality is incredible and the first set of negatives produced came out excellent
