This now discontinued by Google phone version is still a hot seller on eBay. I purchased my first 2 (16 GIG)from Google when the Nexus 5 came out and got a fantastic deal of under $250.00 for each since Google was dumping them from the product line. Now they are still selling for around $200.00 to $300 used. Bought another one for $220. I am a huge Nexus fan. Unlocked. Ready to be rooted and ROMed. Tons of developers. No "cooked" in bloat features, just pure Android. I still have the original Verizon CDMA Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GNEX). I am disappointed that Google won't keep that one running with Android 4.4 saying it misses the 18 month window....just. Interesting fact is that Google owns Motorola. Then why does Google give the Nexus phones so much room to do what ever they want? Because they use the consumer community to help come up with new ROMed features on the Nexus so they can cook them into their new MOTO phones? Pros: Still supported for Android up grader (but if you are ROMing who cares) Better battery than the GNEX. Bigger screen than the GNEX. Better processor. Better camera. Cons: What is up with the Corning Gorilla Glass back side. Bad call here by LG. Not much better than the GNEX. GSM only! No SD slot. only 8 or 16 GIG model. The GNEX came with 32. Conclusion: If you already have a GNEX you might want to stay where you are. If you are looking for a new phone that is like the GNEX and you don't have one, check out the Nexus 4. If your really want to go nuts buy the Nexues 5 or the Mack Daddy Samsung Galaxy S4 Nexus Edition. https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=samsung_galaxy_s4&feature=ha-text-sem_bk-gs4&utm_source=ha&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=sem_bk&utm_content=gs4&gclid=CJCjoZ76o7sCFciH4AodzjMAAA&gclsrc=ds Hope this helps, DaveVollständige Rezension lesen

This phone is a major upgrade from my previous Nexus One that failed due to the common power button problem. I love that it also runs Lollipop and has a quad core processor making it a very affordable phone for people who don't need bleeding edge technology and want something that is modern and reliable. Otterbox does NOT make a case for this phone, the next best thing I could find was a Ballistic Gel case. I do field service work so having a strong case is almost necessary with how much I travel and use the phone. Tethering is great and even though this phone is only 3G, I don't notice any difference. Measured speeds up to 10 MBps.
This phone has pretty good specs for a 2012 phone. I got mine on Ebay for about $130. PROS: • 2 GB of RAM in a 2012 phone • Has been kept updated by Google with Android 5 (Lollipop) CONS: • Has MANY FREEZES AND DIFFICULTIES AFTER FREEZE STARTING UP AGAIN • Answering calls in unnecessarily difficult with swiping in multiple directions instead of a simple, answer or reject option • The screen is just too big to handle with one hand. I can't tap the top left corner to do things with my right hand. SUMMARY: I'm happy that Google has been able to keep a 2012 phone updated with Android 5 and put a good 2 GB of RAM when Apple was sticking 512 MB in their iPhone 4 and even in 2014 their flagship phones have a paltry 1 GB of RAM... just a couple reasons I switched sides and gave this Nexus a try. UPDATE: I'm really close to getting rid of this damn thing. It's just to damn buggy and freezes and is difficult to start up after freeze!Vollständige Rezension lesen
It is a great phone. Nexus 4 is really good looking, it is probably one of the most beutiful phones. I won't write about functionality, it's not lagging or freezes, and i think that's enought for common user. Things i like about Nexus 4: +good looking +early system updates +works without any issues +it's not big +wireless charging Things i don't like -battery life, it's enought for 1 day, but sometimes i need a bit more -can't connect flash drive/mouse/keyboard -no memory card (16gb + cloud storages) -when you put nexus 4 on his back on flat surface, like glass table, the volume is lowered by ~60% and chance, that you will miss call is really high. -glass from both sides. and glass is fragile And still, i think it's one of the best Android phones. You will not regret buying it.
