Recently bought an old Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 and needed a bigger HDD. The CF-29 is using IDE-drives, so there were not many offers to choose from. I bought two of these Hitachi drives. Shipping was quite fast. The drives were in new condition, but they are quite old. Mine are from 2006, but SMART says "Power On Hours = 1" , so the were obviously not used . Nevertheless I tested both with h2testw, one complete write and read cycle, to be sure there are no hidden problems with the drives. All perfect, and SMART didnt return any errors before or after the testing. Drives are working fine in my CF-29.

Die IDE HDD wurde als Reparatur-Ersatzteil für ein Notebook benötigt. Wie gewohnt, gute Hitachi-Qualität. Bisher ist der Besitzer des Notebook rundum zufrieden.
als IDE Platte für alte Rechner ist Sie ideal. Außerdem sind Hitachi Platten länger haltbar wie die Fujitsu und schneller ist Sie auch.
