Brand new model from the Gundam series "Iron Blooded Orphans". This is basically an unlabeled 1/100 scale version of the Barbados, following the also recently released HG 1/144 version. If that last sentence was confusing, basically it's a matter of understanding Bandai's rating system! LOL! In the hopes of avoiding a lengthy explanation of how this rating system works, simply put this is a new model unto itself, and not an up-scale of the smaller 1/144 Barbados. Compared to Gundams of a similar size this kit is easier to assemble, yet manages to pull off a greater level of detail in comparison to its smaller sibling. Quality is up to the usual Bandai standard... in other words excellent! Parts are all crisp, clean, and fit precisely. This kit like other Gundam models is all snap-fit... no glue required, and holds together very well. Decals are minimal, consisting of a small sticker sheet, and that's it. Interestingly where most Gundams in the past use a clear plastic for the eyes, this one uses a solid lime green. Think I prefer the clear parts instead! Construction was straightforward and again easy for it's size. The instruction manual while written in Japanese was very easy to follow along with as it is all picture driven. In fact this is one area that Bandai has improved with over time... While all of their previous manuals use extensive use of pictures to show the construction sequence, some of the older books get a bit... cluttered. Overall this is a fun kit, looks great, and reasonably priced for what it is. Verdict: Recommended!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Like every gunpla builds, the frame is great and durable. As you can see, the mid section of the gundam looks quite fragile and that it might break easy. But it is not. It is quite strong to do poses to hold up the upper body. Though be careful if you want to purchase movable hands for this model since the ball joints ARE NOT the same as the previous master grade ball joints. This model has a smaller ball join. Other than than, this model kit was great to build! Quite unique of a model and stands out from the others. If you want it, go buy it! you won't regret it. Plus the price is quite amazing for this build!

Nice kit with a great sculpt. The Gundam frame is completely integrated to the model allowing for full armor, frame only, or battle damage combinations. multiple hands offer fists or palms for excellent posing without going into MG articulation. The runners are in a variety of colours including a bright green for the eyes as well as yellow and red meaning little to no additional painting to reach a screen accurate look. With a basic set of Gundam markers to panel-line, this kit would need little else unless you wanted to undergo a total paint job. I might not choose this as my first Gunpla but I would highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the series. the ONLY criticism I have for this model is the fact that the signature Mace wielded through the early episodes is sold separately.

While it's not a Perfect Grade which I build exclusively, it's an awesome Gundam nonetheless. Very solid and a fun build. Not to mention you can do some great action poses that give a great "epic" feel to it. I can only hope that Bandai will one day make a PG iteration. Highly recommended!
