I bought this Weber BarBQ as a replacement for a 23 year old Shepherd Gas BarBQ. I already have a small Weber Q100 Gas BarBQ and this influenced my purchase decision. Although the Q320 is relatively expensive, it is robustly built (unlike most of the alternatives in the shops) and I expect this to last a reasonable time. Assembly was easy and straightforward. The BarBQ reaches operating temperature very quickly and it is easy to sear meats at high temperature if required. I have tried a number of recipes from the Weber's Complete BarBQ Book and found that the given cooking times are far too long, even at low heat, but this may be due to the BarBQ being new and the shiny internal surfaces reflecting heat more. Not a problem, as cook books are only guide books to work from. The BarBQ is very easy to light using the battery powered ignition system and the dual burner system prevents flare ups when cooking fatty food like chicken, etc. This however, means that the fat does not burn and therefore, doesn't produce so much smoke, which would flavour the food. I sometimes use wood chips in a smoke box if I need to impart a smokey flavour to the food, though this does need the BarBQ to be at the higher end of the medium heat setting. The one design fault that is irritating with this BarBQ is the grey plastic cover, which sits below the BarBQ and hides the propane gas bottle. The fastenings for this cover are particularly useless and I will probably discard the cover. My other minor criticism of the BarBQ is the size of the aluminium fat drip tray below the BarBQ. Weber sell replacement aluminium foil trays for the fat, but the tray size appears to be unique to Weber and they are excessively priced, if used once and thrown away. Overall, very happy with the BarBQVollständige Rezension lesen
Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
