As a 50y.o., I was reluctant to make the last leap from records and CD's to the digital age of Ipod's. But I'm glad I did, and glad I bought the 5th generation Ipod. It has a great design, great features, and was fairly easy to teach myself the process of learning how to use it. It's very satisfying to go on my daily walk and have thousands of songs I love to listen to on my Ipod, instead of having to settle for crass, commericial driven, disc jockey babble, very bad local radio stations. Can I get a witness! Thanks Apple for making such a wonderful product.
I like everything about it, but comment on battery life I can't make haven't had it long enough nor have I used it yet..just checkout features to make sure everything was in working order so far so good..check back in a month and I can answer the battery question.

What can one say about the Apple iPod? Perhaps one of the most influential portable music players around, it has become a standard of sorts by which to judge other PMPs. The 5th Gen. Nano is the last of the "big" small iPods. The Nano comes with a built-in pedometer, camera, and radio. It does all things relatively well if you take into account it's size and capabilities. Should you expect "great" photos/video from the camera? If you keep in mind what you're taking those photos/videos with then yes. The quality cannot compare to a dedicated camera and it shouldn't necessarily be comparable. The only "miss" Apple has made with this "hit" is perhaps the built-in speaker. Considering it's probable size it is adequate, but you won't want to do a lot of listening to music that way. I cannot say much about battery longevity as I have only used the one I have for a couple of weeks - and it is a used iPod. The little 2nd Gen. Shuffle I used to have - this one is replacing that one since I lost it - was over 2 years old and still had enough battery life to play the entire 6 hours of songs I had loaded onto it. I would guess that if properly cared for the battery life should be acceptable - if abused then maybe not so much so. I know folks like OWC used to sell battery replacements for the older iPods that came with full instructions and the tools needed to do the job. That still may be an option for the Nano's. Would I recommend buying one? YES! I think they do most of what they are intended to do quite well. With a little care this player should last a long time.Vollständige Rezension lesen

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He is always using mine. I love my ipod. It is very easy to use & figuare out how to use. It also has so many other features that the new ones dont have. The battery life is not to good one this product, but it may be due to the fact that is was a used product.
