I bought a long 500mm lens and because the lens was heavier than the camera, I had to mount the lens on a tripod to get good long distance shots. Had to keep the setting to Manual because the camera never recognized the lens and some speed and ISO setting got me going. I shot birds. The lens was so heavy that it eventually damaged the tripod and a tripod threaded end broke in the lens mount. So now I can't use either. I got this as a replacement. It is light. It is easier to hold steady even with the hand and it is much more friendly with the tripod. It looks like I am back in the game after a 2 year lapse. The pictures are interesting. I can do close up of bees in flowers. Am just waiting for my shutter remote/timer and I will be off. Easy to work with this lens and I am sure I will be churning out better quality pictures with this lens, the tripod and the remote (to remove shaking). This is a buy that I will not be regretting ever.Vollständige Rezension lesen
