Came with no drivers - Windows 7 found its own drivers for it any way. Googling the cards chipset gave drivers that didn't work any better than Microsofts so not worth the bother looking for the real thing. In my old quad core system of 2006 could only get SATA 2 speeds of about 200MBs worse than the native Sata2 ports by a small margin, cant say whether it is my pc's chipset and spec or whether the board is misdescribed. Any way for the money is ok and allowed me to add an extra 2 sata ports which was what was important.

Install is really easy plug and play, no drivers required. After the installation tests show double reading speed and no improvement in writing speed compared to same SDD/HDD being attached to SATA III controller and SATA II onboard controller.

Has great features but not worth running in pcie 1x when it's Gen 1 because the data rate is limited to 250mb/s for the slot. Cannot go as near to the Intel Sata3 but worth the price. Has ASMedia® ASM 1061 sata III controller. Nicely packaged and shipped fast.

I'm using it with a DVD-RW and one 14TB WD Ultrastar disk for two weeks, it works without any problem in Windows 10 x64. The speeds look like the same as it would run from onboard SATA connector. Everything is stable. This card increases a bit boot time because you have to wait around 3-5s before BIOS shows up, but this is totally within acceptable range. Price/value is excellent.

I've ordered a total of 4 of these across 2 separate transactions from this seller, and on both occasions the items arrived well packaged and in approx 21 days (to the UK). All 4 units work fine with Windows 10 and no driver was required - simply plug the card into an available PCI-E x1 port, connect your internal HDD (along with power to the HDD) and switch on the PC. I used 1 to revive an old PC by connecting a SSD to it as a boot drive. No fancy tweaking to the BIOS was required, I simply entered the BIOS and select the SSD connected to the expansion card and Windows 10 loaded up fine
