Cheap but well-built and works great
Cheap but well-built and works great. The build quality feels really good for a $10 product, and I don't see any adverse effects with any of my lenses.
FYI, you need to engage the Lock collar in order for the aperture dial on the lens to take effect.

Needed some repair work to fit properly but otherwise fine
The hood fits the intended lens correctly, but unfortunately, the rubber inserts in the bayonet ring are prone to deterioration over time. My copy suffered from this. It is possible to fix using the procedure described in various places online (search "Loose Canon FD lens hood"), but it is a bit of delicate work. You may have better luck just buying a generic hood that screws into the filter thread (55mm) instead of this one, unless you are specifically looking for an original Canon part.

Great camera for a great price
7 von 7 finden das hilfreich Great camera, and awesome price to performance. I've upgraded to the a6400 from my a5100, and everything works well. FYI, I received the PAL version (i.e., non-U.S.), so I get a little message each time I switch batteries that needlessly reminds me I have set the camera to NTSC. Not a huge problem, but something I thought worth bringing up.
