Direct fit replacement for 1997 Toyota Camry. OEM fit and function.

Purchased this due to not being able to control the mode door on 1997 Toyota Camry. Was stuck on panel vent no matter what mode you selected. This fixed the issue. Only complaint is this is a bit more expensive than the same part for other makes and models.

It's okay.

Kit requires working knowledge of rebuilding an automatic transmission valve body. That being said it has straight forward instructions and my installation went pretty smooth except, some end plugs go in with the o-ring in opposite directions but make sure you double check the diagram they send with the kit. Seemed to fix my 3-4 up-shift flare when cold. Make sure you read the instructions FIRST!!! Toyota uses an adjustable line pressure shim with 3 possible selections. You have to make sure you note it's orientation during disassembly so you can follow the correction instructions to install with this kit. The price. Price kills this thing, it seems like you are paying quite a lot of money for very little product. It does not come with valve body plate gaskets or the temperature fluid sensor port seal o-rings. Does not even come with a pan gasket. That being said make sure you purchase an A/T overhaul kit to make sure you have all gaskets and seals you will need to install this product.
