Just a truly wonderful bike bag
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This thing is just SO cool!. I bought the MTX EXP bag along with the matching rack in October 2009 and have been using it continuously for 13 years. It still looks almost new and I've had no problems.
I've carried so may things over the years with this bag, and in all types of weather.....groceries, tools, clothes, equipment, whatever. It has never let me down. I can carry a surprising amount of groceries, especially when using the panniers. I've never yet been left wanting for more room. All items are held securely and I don't fear losing anything.
This is the bees knees for bicycle commuters. Try it and I'm sure that you'll be pleased.

Quality and useful analyzer, even today in 2024
I bought two of these - a 2712 and a 2715, both used but in very good physical condition. My 2712 has the tracking generator option which allows it to perform scalar analysis.
This series of analyzers are sleepers, and were considered "economy" units when new even though average new cost was $12 - 15k. Higher priced units of the time such as the 2753 et al had higher frequency coverage and more features but were often plagued with problems.
The 2710 was the first of this economy line which went on to become the 2711, 2712, and the CATV oriented 2714 and 2715. With each new model, improvements in both performance and reliability were made.
Quality & craftsmanship are very good even by today's standards, and many of these units are still in service daily. Inside of each analyzer, on top of the filter unit near the rear you will find personal signatures - not just copies - from the QA team which assembled and tested that particular unit. Such thins are unheard of in today's manufacturing world.
The really cool thing about these is available documentation. Both the user and service manuals are very well written, and service information extends right down to the component level i.e. individual capacitors, resistors, IC chips, and so on.
Further, there are no Tektronix-proprietary IC chips in these units which I have been able to find.
Yes, one can buy a newer analyzer such as the Rigol DSA815 and others but those units will be expensive tor repair if needed and cannot be repaired by the owner. In contrast, a good used Tektronix 27xx will satisfy most needs and represents great value-for-dollar.

Still most useful, even after 20+ years!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This kit was offered for the purpose of learning basic analog & digital electronics, circa 2000-2001. And it is still very useful for that because these basic electronic concepts are still the basis of nearly all modern electronics.
But here in 2022, this kit has yet another use which is really neat - the building and testing of microcontroller (MCU) circuits. Everything need for this is there. You get a built-in power supply, potentiometers for testing of analog inputs, several LED indicators for digital output and logic state testing, pushbuttons for digital input testing, a DPDT switch for various purposes. And if that isn't enough, you also get a speaker and matching transformer for sound testing. Cool!
But even better than all of the above is that the kit includes a nice built-in breadboard for very quick circuit construction and analysis. This means that the kit can also use most any commonly available parts :).
I use one of these kits almost daily in order to test various PIC circuits and it is invaluable for that.
The unit is high quality too. It is well built and quite sturdy.
Some 20+ years after selling at Radio Shack, these kits are still very much relevant.
