Smaller than it looks
When I received the package, I was amazed at how small it actually was! The minor surgery dissection kit is about the size of a video game case, maybe even smaller. However, this isn't a bad thing as it's highly portable! This allows for faster research to be done on the go, which is a plus. I would recommend that you research the blades and their uses before you buy a certain kit, as you want to make sure that you will be using the correct tool for the job! Also, this will eliminate any possible confusions when the kit does arrive.

Careful with the Objective Lenses!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I absolutely adore the idea of being able to look at microorganisms, plants, or even salt crystals at the comfort of your home! This not only gets rid of having to be in a biology lab or a science class (for those in school), it also makes researching things that you love easier at the comfort of your own home! However, I would highly advise to be careful when using the 1000x and even the 100x objective lenses as they can get extremely close to a slide. As a safety precaution I would recommend that you get your specimen in the field of view, zoom out, switch lenses and then continue zooming in until you can continue from where you left off. This extra step prevents any damage from happening to your objective lenses and resulting in you buying another pair to replace the old damaged one.
